Music and Winter on the Rick (Ricardo) Vargas Southfield Blog

Today on the Ricardo Vargas Southfield blog, I write about music and the winter season. I also write about Music and Seasons here: https://rick-vargas.com/index.php/2020/10/25/music-and-seasons/

In the Winter

In the winter, we are surrounded by the cold, frosty blanket of the season. There is nothing we want more than to stay indoors, surrounded by a warm fire. Music comes into play – when you are sitting by a warm fire, more than often you are relaxing and want some calm music  to play in the background. Music helps set the mood and warms your soul.

The Snow

When the snow blankets the ground, it may bring with it times of sorrow. There are people who despise the winter season and want nothing more than the summer to be here. The cold and the snow and Seasonal Affective Disorder might cause a person to listen to dark, moody music to get through the days. On the other hand, there are others that thrive in winter sports or may have a job that depends on the snow – this might bring upon cheerful music to get them through practice or their day at work.

The Seasons

Every season brings with it a fresh perspective and it is important to have a soundtrack to go along with that season, no matter how it may make you feel. Music will only help you get through the tough seasons and the good seasons.
